I have a Bose studio TV system

I have a Bose studio TV system, the sound stopped working called Bose and told that as they are out of warranty they don’t repair them but I could buy a refurbished one for £180 if I also return my old unit !!!!!!!!!!
I called a local TV repair shop who fixed the issue for £35, it only had dry joints. So you decide why Bose wanted my old system if they don’t repair anything

Horrible Customer Service. Bose Products are not what they used to be.

Need someone to tell me what is going on at Bose? Their reputation is dropping like a stone. I bought a defective soundbar; have been trying to arrange an return/exchange - reaching a service rep is impossible. On hold for hours; looks like Sonos is the way to go in the future.

I spent almost two hours arranging…

I spent almost two hours arranging service for my AV35. No response after opening a service ticket. I was promised a shipping label and return instructions. Bose is a Black-Hole. They used to be great.
What you read about the chat is true. Black-Hole. I'm not going to spend any more time on them. Just run the other direction.

just want to say how much I love my…alto sunglasses

just want to say how much I love my Bose alto sunglasses ! I had my prescription put into the lenses so I can wear them all the time I had a mini stroke on Wednesday and I have been using my glasses in hospital for music and watching movies on my phone I don’t know how I would if endured this past 5 days with out them !! My only comment is the battery life it’s just a little too weak I’ve got close to 5 hours in hospital but when I ride my motorcycle with them that isn’t enough time keep up the great work my name is Tracey Schaeffer 🥰thank you

I bought Soundtouch 30 via Lulu…

I bought Soundtouch 30 via Lulu Supermarket last January 2022. After satisfying with its sound for 5 months, it just stop working. I went to service center and for just one or two days, they call and ready for pickup. So, I get the thing and asked what happen, they Said there was cockcroach, since it is free I did not mind. Of course, service centers can say anything.
Since it is free.
Last week of August, the same thing happen again, I went back for repair, it took a week before they called for pickup, but when I asked if there are charges, they said you must pay 920sr. Oh boy I almost had a heart attack. 920sr for cleaning, as if there were part that needs to be changed WHY???

I purchased this approximately a year ago.
What an enhancement of sound.
My old surround sound system rarely gets used.
Watching any form of TV, the sound from such a little box is amazing.
Firstly the connection to the TV is so simple using the optical cable. Then pairing to tablets & phones via Bluetooth.
Playback sounds amazing music in particular is nearly as good as wearing headphones. Audio books, podcasts, news, sports & documentaries crisp & clear. Switching between TV & Bluetooth devices is one button on the remote. I was so impressed I bought another for my son so I could get my Bose Soundlink back.
If you haven't got one are thinking about getting one you won't be disappointed.
This is seriously a 5☆product.

Connecting to wifi network stupidly…

Connecting to wifi network stupidly complicated. After 6 hours still unable to connect. All the “help” guides keep telling you to do the same thing. None of it works!

INCOMPETENT REPAIR

I sent in a Unit for repair of the CD player. This is a Soundwave. The CD breaks down about annually. It is VERY poorly made. I was forced to pay for the repair in advance, and then wait three weeks for the unit to be returned. It was packed without protection in a big box, and arrived broken The radio and clock which were working are now dead. DON'T BUY BOSE! Their best days are well behind them. They wasted a lot of my time, and now I’ll have to fight to get my money back, because I paid so far in advance. Never again.

It’s disappointing to read all of these…

It’s disappointing to read all of these poor customer reviews. Hope Bose address some of the issues. I have bought a number of products over the years and I have been disappointed overall with the longevity of their speakers and earphones. They have all since stopped working and ended up in the bin.
I had a SoundTouch 20 that I had for just over 12 months and was aggrieved that it suddenly stopped working. No power.
It was also plagued with constant Bluetooth pairing issues throughout its life but I accepted that.
I used the Bose repair process. £79.99
Posted it off. I was initially concerned at it showed delivered at their Milton Keynes address within a few days but Bose systems did not reflect this for 10 days?
Bose customer service were unable to provide any reassurances.
Three weeks later. Updates from ups advising that my product had cleared customs? Customs ? My item was being posted back, thankfully, from Belgium.
I now suspect that Bose onward send all their European repairs to this county, hence my initial delay in them receiving the item on their internal system.
I have to say though that the repair is excellent! Full report of items changed. It’s like having a new item again.
My experience is mixed but I am very happy with the outcome.

Never received headphones

It's been 8 months since I ordered headphones and still not arrived. Customer Support is non existent. They just hang up if the query is too challenging! People working there are thick! Still waiting for a proof of delivery request to be acknowledged. AVOID!
